San Diego Harbor Dinner Cruise

We meet in front of our hotel and will be transported to Harbor Drive.  This Nightly Dinner Cruises on beautiful San Diego Bay will feature a two and a half (2.5) hours cruising aboard one of our fine dining vessels, featuring 25 scenic miles of San Diego's magnificent skyline.  Included in this unforgettable dining experience is a complete three-course served dinner, complimentary boarding champagne and DJ entertainment.  The cost is $80 per person.

Ladies Luncheon at The Historic Hotel del Coronado

We meet in front of our hotel and will be transported on to Coronado Island.  Our ladies will enjoy the award-winning food, spectacular ocean views, and magical ambiance. The Hotel del Coronado offers unparalleled dining experiences.  The cost is $55 per person.

Notable guests of the hotel have included Thomas Edison, L. Frank Baum, Charlie Chaplin, Babe Ruth, Veronica Covance, and Charles Lindbergh. In 1920, Edward VIII was a guest of the hotel when his future wife Wallis Simpson lived in Coronado. It has been speculated that he may have met her at the hotel.  The following presidents have stayed at the hotel: Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush

Men's Golf Outing & Luncheon

Steeped in a rich tradition of golf legends past, Riverwalk Golf Club offers a classic golfing experience. Formerly known as the Stardust Country Club, the course hosted the PGA tour during the 50's and 60's. Today's players are treated to the challenge of the original course at the newly reborn Riverwalk. What was once flat now features undulating fairways, waterfalls and well-protected bentgrass greens. Water comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes with a spectacular waterfall surrounding the green of the signature hole. The San Diego River, a prominent feature of the layout, contributes to the beauty and challenge of the course.  The Riverwalk Golf Club is located behind the Handlery Hotel & Resort. 

 

This Casper Platoon "Golf Package" includes your: Green Fee,  Shared Golf Cart,  Range Balls, Tournament Services, and a Barbecue Lunch Buffet in the clubhouse.  The cost is $75 per person.


This is an optional event for you guys to enjoy while our gals are at the Ladies Luncheon on Coronado.                   Other San Diego Attractions To Consider!                   

The Handlery Hotel & Resort in San Diego is perfectly situated just minutes from the great attractions, including Sea World Vacations, the San Diego Zoo, the USS Midway Museum and the Plaza del Pasado in historic Old Town. For a shopping adventure, there is Seaport Village and the Westfield Fashion Valley Shopping Center is just around the corner.  There are several other great places to visit too.  If you do not have a car or just don't feel like driving, there are a few other types of transportation available: The Handlery Hotel Van will provide complimentary transportation to popular local attractions, including Sea World, Old Town and San Diego Zoo. There is also the San Diego Trolley, City Buses, and Taxi Cabs.  The Trolley is inexpensive and fun to ride.  There is also an information and ticket sales booth located inside of the hotel.  You can get help with details about all of the San Diego attractions, transportation, plus buy your tickets for local shows, attractions and events -- all right there.  Here are a few of many attractions to consider during your free time:

San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California is one of the largest, most progressive zoos in the world with over 4,000 animals of more than 800 species.  The Zoo offers a guided tour bus that traverses 75% of the park. There is an overhead gondola lift called the skyfari. It was built by Vonroll ltd of Switzerland.it is the famous Vonroll type 101.  It provides an aerial view of the Zoo and is a quick way to move between opposite ends of the Zoo.

Exhibits are often designed around a particular habitat. The same exhibit features many different animals that can be found side-by-side in the wild, along with native plant life. Exhibits range from an African rain forest (featuring gorillas) to the Arctic taiga and tundra in the summertime (featuring polar bears). Some of the largest free-flight aviaries in existence are here. Many exhibits are "natural" with invisible wires and darkened blinds (to view birds), and pools and open-air moats (for large mammals).  Ticket prices are $34 adult, $24 kids (12 & under).  The travel time is 20 minutes from our hotel.

Sea World San Diego

A perennial favorite among visitors to San Diego city, SeaWorld is heavily marketed with some educational exhibits, plenty of great rides and aquatic shows involving dolphins, sea lions, seals, otters and killer whales.  Ticket prices are $59 adults, $49 kids.  The travel time from our hotel is 25 minutes.

USS Midway Aircraft Carrier

The San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum aboard the USS Midway has become a crown jewel of downtown San Diego's revitalized waterfront.  The USS Midway appeals to a wide audience and has more than 35 exhibits throughout the historic carrier to visit, including the flight deck.  Ticket prices are $17 adults, $13 seniors, $10 retired military, $9 youth.  The travel time from our hotel is about 30 to 40 minutes on the trolley.

Old Town San Diego is home to the best mexican food

Old Town & Seaport Village

Old Town San Diego is the birthplace of California and is now a State Park where visitors can come and see how former San Diegans established this great city. It is filled with shops and restaurants. Some of the best Mexican food can be found in Old Town. There are many museums to visit.  Heritage Park showcases Victorians that are now bed and breakfasts and restaurants. There are dozens of restaurants to choose from and you really can't go wrong no matter which restaurant you choose. Old Town San Diego is a lot of fun and a worth a visit when coming to San Diego.

Seaport Village is one of the city's main attractions. Consisting of 14 acres, 75 shops and four restaurants, Seaport Village was designed as a 100-year-old village where visitors can shop, eat and relax. Visitors will have plenty to see and do at Seaport Village. Each restaurant has a great view of the bay and four miles of walkways will help diners walk off their meals. The historic Gaslamp District and Harbor Waterfront areas are near by and also fun to visit.  The San Diego Trolley will take you to these areas San Diego areas.
