Fort Campbell Tour & Lunch

We have an exciting tour of Fort Campbell planned for the guys that will also include lunch.

As it stands, here is the plan for the day.  We will leave the hotel at 0800 hrs and should arrive at the fort before 0900 hrs.  First on the agenda is a tour of the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST).  This is a 10-lane, computer-based weapons firing range.  Lasers are substituted for live ammunition.  Casper members can fire authentic military weapons at simulated targets.  A computer keeps score of your hits and misses.  Sounds like fun, think you still have it? Good because Gary Braden will lead us in a Casper Weapons Tournament and a prize will be awarded to our best marksmen.  Next we will stop and visit the area where the 173d Airborne Brigade Colors were retired in 1972.  Then we will visit the Helicopter Static Display where the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) is home to 4 different types of helicopters: UH-60 Blackhawk, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, CH-47 Chinook and the AH-64 Apache Longbow.  Caspers will be taken to an aircraft hangar and allowed to view one type of aircraft.  Normally, this will be the UH-60 Blackhawk or the Ch-47 Chinook.  A qualified pilot will provide a short capabilities briefing and then we can sit in the pilot’s seat, etc.  Military dining is our next stop for Lunch at the Aviation Brigade Dining Facility were we can eat with the troops.  The price for lunch is $4.00 per person and you will have to pay with cash only as you board the bus at the hotel.

Sounds good?  Then please let us know if you would like to join us.

Contact Ned Costa: Fort Campbell - YES  (EVENT NOW CLOSED)

The round trip transportation cost per person for this trip is $15 per person.  Please print and fill out the reservation form and mail it along with your check to Ned Costa: Fort Campbell Reservation
