The Flamingo Hotel & Casino Bugsy Siegel's desert dream, The Flamingo, has anchored the Las Vegas Strip since they started rolling dice in 1946. This self-contained casino and resort offers everything an adventurous vacationer could want - including a Wildlife Habitat and a 15-acre Caribbean-style water playground. Set on the famous four corners of Las Vegas Blvd. and Flamingo Road, this hotel combines heart-pounding Las Vegas excitement with hospitality and service that's second to none. Fun in the Sun The four separate pools are housed within a tropical retreat, accenting waters with brightly colored flowers and countless shade-producing palms. From Bugsy’s traditional oval-shaped pool to a sprawling, grotto-laced lagoon, we have a pool for every personality. Waterfalls and our seasonal waterslides provide nonstop refreshment while our two hot tubs deliver relaxation in a hurry. The complex also features cocktail service and a seasonal poolside restaurant, The Beach Club. Perfect surroundings can lead to a perfect tennis game. Players can perfect their skills at any one of our four, lighted courts. The Spa at the Flamingo accommodates those who want a good workout as well as those who seek a relaxing reward. The co-ed workout room is populated with a collection of the most advanced exercise machines available today. Satisfy your taste for the exotic or settle in for a relaxing meal in a casual setting. The Flamingo offers an array of culinary experiences, from a 24-hour Coffee Shop, Buffet, Casual or Fine Dining. There are several Bars and Lounges also located throughout the hotel for your entertainment. The Flamingo resort is home to a flock of live Chilean Flamingos! These birds, as well as a collection of other feathered-friends, fascinate our guests and populate our Wildlife Habitat. In addition to our namesake, you’ll find African penguins, swans, ducks, Koi, and turtles populating these grounds. From the beginning, The Flamingo has been hosting show business legends. Entertainers like Jerry Lewis, Nat "King" Cole, Dean Martin and Richard Pryor have all graced our stage. Today this tradition continues. From the greatest soul-singer of all time, Gladys Knight, and The Second City - America’s most influential comedic company - to the hilarious antics of George Wallace. ______________________________________________________
Reunion Registration Fee and Other Costs Registration Fee Reunion Luncheon Banquet Dinner $50 per family $20 per person $50 per person We encourage those who are planning to attend the reunion to fill-out the online registration form (to the left) and list everyone in your party that will be attending our event. We are keeping the Casper Registration Fee price the same as past reunions. However, the Dinner cost in this 4-Star Hotel & Resort will be priced at $50 this year. However, the Room rates will drop by nearly $20 compared to DC. The Raffle tickets will be sold separately at the reunion. Please make your check payable to: CAPO and mail it to Ned Costa. We would like to have your registration fee and banquet dinners paid ASAP.
The Flamingo is offering Casper Platoon their Deluxe Bedroom for $90 per night. Measuring nearly 350 square-feet in size, these accommodations come equipped with a desk, couch and an oversized chair. Each room is loaded with features that simplify your stay - an in-room safe, voice mail, data line, iron and ironing board, built-in hair dryer and more! Available with 1 King or 2 Double Beds. It will be your responsibility to contact the hotel and make your own room reservation. The hotel will expect a credit card number at that time, but will not apply any charges to it until you check out of the hotel. Please make your reservations ASAP. We are responsible for 90 rooms and would like to see the majority of them booked before August 31, 2005. The special $90 rate is good from Sunday thru Thursday nights. Friday & Saturday nights are the regular weekend rate of $150. ______________________________________________________ Ground Transportation to the Flamingo For airport to hotel shuttle service for those who are flying to the reunion, just collect your luggage at baggage claim, follow the signs out side to "Ground Transportation". There is a small booth outside the door for Bell Transportation. You can purchase either one way or round trip transportation ticket right there and they will drop you right at the front door of the hotel. These shuttles run about every 15 minutes. Round trip cost is $9.50 per person, and one way is $5.00. That is much less expensive then taking a cab. If you buy a round trip ticket, the only thing required is that you call Bell Transportation four hours ahead of time to arrange for a pick up back to the airport.
The Las Vegas Monorail is the newest attraction on the famous Las Vegas skyline. Gliding above traffic at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour, you’ll be able to cover the four mile route in approximately 14 minutes for as little as $3.00. There is a monorail station at the Flamingo Hotel. For more monorail information, go to: http://www.lvmonorail.com. Motor Homes The Flamingo Hotel & Casino does not have any hook-ups for motor homes. They recommend contacting the Circus-Circus Hotel & Casino if you plan on staying in your RV. They have an RV Park at the hotel.
